AVAILABLE ONLINE INSTRUCTION LEVELS
ELEMENTARY
No previous lesson experience necessary. This level will introduce proper hand technique, rhythmic theory, and sight reading on the snare drum. In other words, we'll master the basics.
INTERMEDIATE
Continuing rhythmic theory and technical studies on the snare drum. At the intermediate level, students are ready to begin drum set studies or studies of additional percussion instruments: keyboard mallets, timpani, orchestral accessory percussion, world/ethnic hand percussion. Initial development of artistic expression.
ADVANCED
Drum set technical, stylistic, and artistic studies designed to prepare the student for post-high school application either as a young professional or successful college/university student. Similarly for an advanced student of concert snare drum, keyboard mallets, timpani, orchestral accessory percussion or world/ethnic hand percussion.
PROFESSIONAL
Individually tailored regimens to elevate abilities in technique, independence, time awareness, reading ability, and stylistic knowledge. You will be coached in the pursuit of excellence and refinement at any stage of your career.
